Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services throughout an engagement along with the agency's senior administrators at a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% in the registered pupils within the training sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
